Alvin Dunn

Mr. Dunn, a counsel in Pillsbury's litigation group, has substantial counseling and litigation experience in antitrust, consumer protection, and trade regulation matters. He represents major trade associations in the health and insurance fields on an ongoing basis with respect to antitrust and other matters. He also counsels numerous clients in a wide variety of industries on all aspects of antitrust compliance, including price-fixing, market allocation, and other horizontal issues, price and nonprice restraints and other vertical issues, joint purchasing and monopsony issues, monopolization, and Robinson-Patman Act issues. Mr. Dunn has substantial experience in all aspects of the Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger clearance process and has obtained antitrust approval for numerous mergers and acquisitions. He has represented clients in presentations before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and state regulatory agencies. Mr. Dunn also has substantial experience litigating antitrust cases in various industries with respect to Section 1, Section 2, and Robinson-Patman Act claims.

Mr. Dunn has extensive experience advising clients on a wide variety of consumer protection issues, particularly in the areas of sweepstakes, contests and raffles.

Mr. Dunn also has significant trial and appellate litigation experience in commercial, constitutional, and other matters, as well as extensive experience litigating on a pro bono basis, including serving as lead counsel in significant cases on behalf of death row inmates in Ohio.
