Andrew S. Kersting
|
Mr. Kersting has more than 15 years of experience representing a wide variety of clients – from individual entrepreneurs to publicly traded companies in a broad array of matters involving radio and television stations. That experience encompasses the negotiation and drafting of agreements for the acquisition or sale of stations, the financing of station acquisitions, preparation and filing of rulemaking petitions and applications for authorizations, regulatory counseling, and administrative hearings and appellate litigation before the Federal Communications Commission. He has particular experience with interference issues, including matters arising out of the transition to DTV, as well as issues concerning the migration of television stations from the 700 MHz band.
Mr. Kersting's extensive experience includes representation of clients in appellate litigation before United States courts of appeals, drafting proposed legislation concerning new broadcast initiatives, and counseling clients on cable, retransmission consent and antitrust issues.
