Barbara L. Croutch
|
Ms. Croutch handles class actions, commercial litigation, personal injury and complex product liability and toxic torts litigation, including asbestos, silica and refractory products. Ms. Croutch has defended major companies in personal injury and wrongful death actions alleging injury due to exposure to asbestos, silica, aluminum oxide, and refractory products. Ms. Croutch also represents clients in a variety of other commercial actions including class actions, antitrust, contract and real estate disputes, unfair business practice claims and international matters.
Trials include: a defense verdict in a $100 million lender liability case involving a major financial institution, a complex marital dispute involving an estate in excess of $350 million, a real estate lease dispute and a multimillion-dollar automobile product liability action.
Ms. Croutch is also a regular volunteer acting as a Judge Pro Tem conducting mandatory settlement conferences as part of the Joint Association Settlement Officers’ Program (JASOP), through the Los Angeles Superior Court.
