Mr. Maller leads the firm's Real Estate Private Equity and Alternative Investments Teams. He speaks about alternative investments before the National Association of State Treasurers, Harvard's Center for Business and Government, the NYU Real Estate Institute, and other major forums and is regularly quoted by publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor, and The Deal.
He served under two NYS Comptrollers on NYS Common Retirement Fund's real estate investment board and on the California Controller's Advisory Council on Investments. He founded and runs the Alternative Investments Forum, which is a think tank that promotes sound investments in alternative asset classes by institutional investors; its members are many of the world's preeminent investment fund managers.
