Corrie L. Plant
|
Ms. Plant is a senior associate in the Litigation department at Pillsbury, with extensive experience in the defense and settlement of complex, multiparty cases in both federal and state court. Her multifaceted litigation practice includes labor and employment (including wage and hour class actions), environmental litigation and compliance (including CERCLA and California’s Proposition 65), unfair competition and business practices, contract disputes, toxic tort claims, and consumer products/product liability. Ms. Plant also has extensive experience in defending clients in administrative, civil and criminal environmental enforcement actions. She routinely advises clients regarding compliance with various environmental laws related to the sale of consumer products, including Proposition 65, Green Chemistry, and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.
While in law school she received the Law-in-Action Scholarship, the State Bar Academic Achievement Award in Constitutional Law and the State Bar Academic Achievement Award in Contracts. She was also an Articles Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Prior to law school, she worked as an intern for the British Broadcasting Corp. while studying and living in Northern Ireland.
