Securities litigation, M&A litigation, and corporate governance disputes: Mr. Furbush is the co-leader of the firm’s Securities Litigation Team. For almost 30 years his practice has focused on securities litigation of all types, including shareholder class actions, litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, investigations and proceedings initiated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, derivative suits, cases alleging breaches of fiduciary duty, and state securities law and common law claims concerning the purchase and sale of securities.

Mr. Furbush has lectured frequently before such organizations as ALI-ABA, the Practicing Law Institute, California Continuing Education of the Bar, Glass Legal Works, Mealey’s, KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute, PricewaterhouseCoopers’ General Counsel Forum, The National Investor Relations Institute, the Federal Practice Program and The Strategic Research Institute.
