David R. Lewis
|
Mr. Lewis is the leader of Pillsbury's Energy Group with a focus on nuclear power. He assists clients with all aspects of nuclear plant regulation, including siting, initial licensing, license renewal, decommissioning, investigations and enforcement, and whistleblower proceedings. He is a leading practitioner in license renewal proceedings. He is also at the forefront of the nuclear renaissance, assisting clients with applications for design certifications, early site permits, and combined construction and operating licenses. In addition, he advises on nuclear business and organizational transactions, including nuclear plant acquisitions, the formation of operating companies, and approvals related to electric utility deregulation.
Prior to joining Pillsbury, Mr. Lewis worked under an honors program as an attorney-advisor to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
