Donald G. Kilpatrick

Mr. Kilpatrick, co-leader of the Mergers & Acquisition practice team, represents clients in acquisitions and divestitures, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, corporate governance and general corporate matters. He has worked in many industries including software, banking, professional services, chemicals, manufacturing and consumer products. He has represented clients in private and public acquisitions including work in both friendly and unfriendly public transactions.

Mr. Kilpatrick works with a number of investment banks in connection with their engagements, advising on engagement letter issues and assisting clients in providing fairness opinions.

Mr. Kilpatrick rejoined the firm in 2001 after an eight-year period during which he served as a Managing Director of D. George Harris & Associates, a private equity firm that specialized in leveraged buyouts in the chemical and mining industries. Mr. Kilpatrick supervised numerous debt financings and equity investments in connection with the DGHA companies and provided general corporate advice on nontransactional matters.
