Ms. Brownell, a partner in Pillsbury's tax group, concentrates her practice in partnership and joint venture structuring and in the partnership, low-income housing and real estate taxation areas. Ms. Brownell has extensive experience in structuring partnership and joint venture entities and providing federal tax advice on partnership matters. In recent years, she has devoted a significant portion of her time to the formation of real estate joint ventures. Ms. Brownell has also devoted a significant amount of time to representing institutional investors in projects qualifying for federal low-income housing credits.
