Elyssa Romino is a skilled commercial litigator with wide-reaching experience handling contract disputes, government and internal investigations and construction litigation.

Elyssa represents clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation in state and federal court, from initial case assessment and early phases of discovery through trial. Elyssa also has substantial experience assisting with internal corporate investigations and responding to civil enforcement actions and investigations initiated by state and federal agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and the California Department of Insurance.

In addition to her commercial work, Elyssa also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on assisting domestic violence survivors through direct client service and appellate advocacy in partnership with national organizations.

Before joining Pillsbury, Elyssa worked as a litigation paralegal in New York City and an extern in the criminal division of the United States Attorney’s Office, Central District of California.
