In its eighth annual report, Bloomberg Government has named Pillsbury a 2022 Top Performing Lobbying Firm.

Bloomberg Government analyzed Lobbying Disclosure Act reports filed with the Senate throughout 2022 and filtered the data via five business performance metrics: growth in revenue, growth in average revenue per client, short- and long-term customer retention rates and revenue per registered lobbyist. Following its findings, the report spotlights 363 firms that reported $1 million or more in revenue, as well as lobbying activity, in each quarter of the year.

This recognition follows the recent arrival of former eight-term California Congressman Jerry McNerney (D- California), who joined Pillsbury’s Government Law & Strategies group as a Senior Policy Advisor. McNerney is the third former member of Congress to join Pillsbury’s bipartisan lawyer-lobbyist team, following William Lacy Clay Jr. (D-Missouri) and Gregory H. Laughlin (R-Texas). His arrival closely followed former Director and Associate General Counsel for Integrity at Meta Platforms, Inc., Tony Phillips.

Pillsbury’s award-winning lawyer-lobbyists focus on finding high-value “silver bullet” solutions to reduce legal and regulatory risk exposure and maximize opportunities for our clients at all levels of government. The firm’s bipartisan lawyer-lobbyists advocate for clients before all levels of government, defend against executive actions in the regulatory arena, and help create and leverage new business opportunities.
