Pillsbury advised Clowder, a year-round, multi-purpose mobile app platform designed to drive engagement for associations and nonprofits, in its recent acquisition by Advanced Solutions International (ASI), a leading global provider of cloud software and services for associations and nonprofits.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Clowder’s platform integrates with a variety of AMS/CRM solutions to help associations, nonprofits and other membership organizations engage younger members, improve member communication, support unlimited events and create new advertising streams.
“There is tremendous potential in mobile apps—the average person spends five hours on their mobile device each day and 89 percent of that time is spent on apps. We want to maximize this business opportunity for our clients and Clowder will help us lead the way,” said Bob Alves, Chairman and CEO of ASI.
