A team of Pillsbury lawyers led by Corporate partner Steve Ryan advised Concentric Educational Solutions, the leading Black-owned education support system that partners with schools to offer resources to address barriers impacting students, families and staff, in its recent $5 million Series A funding round.

Leading the round was New Markets Venture Partners, one of the nation's leading education and workforce investors.

The financing will broaden the reach of the company’s work including home visits, tutoring and mentoring programs, along with coaching for teachers and staff and mental health support services to address the whole child, according to a company press release.
