Pillsbury has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” in the 2023 Disability Equality Index (DEI).

Firms must have scored at least an 80 on a scale of 100 in categories including culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement, supplier diversity and non-U.S. operations to be considered for the award.

According to Disability:IN, a global organization driving disability inclusion and equality in business, there was a 17 percent increase in participation from last year as 485 corporations spanning 30 industries, in addition to the nine law firms, used the index to measure their disability inclusion efforts.

Pillsbury brings innovation to more than just its legal work. That same pioneering vision directs the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. It was among the first major law firms to promote women to partnership and the first large, national firm in the U.S. to elect a woman as Firm Chair. Today, Pillsbury’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is evident in the composition of its firm leadership; attorneys of color, women attorneys and LGBTQ+ attorneys lead our practices and offices and serve on influential firm committees.
