Corporate Investigations & White Collar Defense partner Carolina Fornos and Finance & Restructuring partner Veronica Relea have again been recognized by Latinvex among Latin America’s Top Female Lawyers.

Latinvex selected 100 attorneys from 62 firms this year, with honorees spanning 15 practice areas and nearly 100 international law firms. Fornos was one of only 28 women recognized in the Arbitration & Disputes category, while Relea was among just 21 lawyers acknowledged for Banking & Finance.

Fornos, the head of Pillsbury’s New York Litigation group and the leader of its Latin America practice, is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on international commercial disputes, civil and criminal enforcement matters, and cross-border internal investigations and compliance.

Relea represents project developers and lenders in highly structured and complex finance transactions in the United States and Latin America. She has developed a robust Latin America practice, advising clients on a range of complex finance transactions.
