The Elemental Energy podcast recently hosted the leader of Pillsbury’s Energy practice and former NRC commissioner Jeffrey Merrifield to discuss energy security. Host Marcia Leonard engaged in a Q&A with Merrifield by questioning the “electrification movement’s” impact on energy security, necessary shifts that should be pursued to achieve stronger energy security, the nuclear industry’s role in such a shift and more.
“I think the U.S. can lead with innovation. I think the U.S. can lead with relationships and I think together, we can help others outside of our country also achieve that energy reliability and security that they’re looking for,” Merrifield said.
