Corporate partner Christopher Patay led a team of Los Angeles lawyers in representing Spruce Naturals LLC in its sale to Stonewall Kitchen. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stonewall Kitchen, a specialty food producer headquartered in York, Maine, is buying Spruce Naturals from its founder Kendall Cook. Spruce Naturals is the parent company of Napa Valley Naturals, a brand of certified organic extra virgin olive oils, cooking oils, Italian balsamic vinegars and aged wine vinegars. Montebello, an artisan brand of organic pastas imported from Italy, is also one of Spruce Naturals’ brands.
In addition to Patay, other Pillsbury team members included Ron Robertson, Michael Finnegan, Dana Newman and Stacie Yee.
