A Pillsbury team led by Corporate partner Stanley Pierson advised Normalyze, a data-first cloud security platform, in its $22.2 million Series A funding, which was co-led by Battery Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. This round brings the company's total funding to $26.6 million to date.

According to its press release, Normalyze is an agentless platform that helps organizations better manage and protect sensitive data from large and damaging data breaches.

In addition to Stanley Pierson, the deal team included Lisa Higa, also in Silicon Valley.
