In its 2020 guide, The Legal 500 U.S. ranked Pillsbury as a leader in 27 practices areas nationwide, spanning the firm’s litigation, regulatory and transactional practices and industries.

These strong results include five Tier 1 or Tier 2 national rankings for M&A: Middle-Market; Outsourcing; Construction; Insurance; and Aviation: Litigation and Regulation, as well as a first-time ranking for General Commercial Disputes and improved standings in the Insurance and Environmental Regulatory categories.

Of note, three Pillsbury lawyers were honored in the “Hall of Fame,” the top ranking category for individuals. These lawyers were: James Alberg (Outsourcing); John Heisse (Construction); and Christopher Wall (International Trade). Additionally, Charles Donley (Aviation: Litigation and Regulation); Nancy Fischer (International Trade); Mark Lessard (Aviation: Finance); Shaalu Mehra (Technology Transactions); Aaron Oser (Outsourcing); and Jonathan Russo (M&A: Middle-Market) were named “Leading Lawyers,” Melissa Jones-Prus (Aviation: Finance); Meighan O’Reardon (Outsourcing); and Clark Thiel (Construction) were named “Next Generation Lawyers” and Matthew Rabinowitz (International Trade) was praised as a Rising Star.
