Pillsbury advised Riot Games, a leading video game developer and publisher, in its investment into newly formed, all-remote indie studio Stoke Games, which recently announced the closing of its $5.5 million funding round.

In addition to Riot Games, BITKRAFT Ventures, which led the funding round, 1Up Ventures and various angel investors also contributed to the total funds raised.

With the development of its initial “shooter adjacent” game currently underway, the studio plans to use the investment toward ramping up playtests with early community members and further expansion through 2024, according to coverage by Forbes and Axios Pro.
