At its 10th Annual Best of Bay Awards, the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks’ (NAIOP) Commercial Real Estate Development Association presented SKS Partners with the Office/Life Sciences Transaction of the Year award for its deal to purchase 350 California Street in downtown San Francisco in 2023. Pillsbury advised SKS on the award-winning transaction, which was one of the first major post-pandemic commercial real estate deals in San Francisco and which helped to set the real estate market after the pandemic.

Ranging from groundbreaking deals to innovative developments, the Best of Bay Awards celebrates outstanding Bay Area real estate. The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco on March 7.

Real Estate partners Adam Weaver and Noa Clark, senior counsel Laura Hannusch and associate Cait Horner served as counsel to SKS in their joint venture with commercial real estate firm The Swig Company. Together, the companies purchased 350 California St., a 22-story building located in San Francisco’s Financial District, from Tokyo-based bank holding company Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.

Additionally, as leasing efforts continue to progress, Pillsbury client 9Zero, a digital and physical hub for climate tech innovation, recently signed a full-floor lease of 16,784 square feet, which occupies the office tower’s fourth floor.
