Pillsbury tax partner Jeffrey Vesely will be a panelist on "Current Trends in Alternative Apportionment" at the 35th Annual Advanced State and Local Tax Institute. This discussion will address how alternative apportionment formulas are being applied more frequently and in a wider variety of circumstances. The panelists will explore recent trends in this area, methods for defending against an attempt by a state to impose an alternative formula, and taxpayer strategies for utilizing alternative apportionment in their favor.
