CLE International 11th Annual Wine, Beer & Spirits Law Conference — New Trends Mean New Challenges

Mr. Seff will moderate a panel of State ABC Regulators on Tuesday afternoon, September 12, which will address the response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s direct shipping decision in Granholm v. Heald. Mr. Davis will discuss, “Section 42 USC 1983 and Alcoholic Beverage Laws: Past, Present and Future” on Tuesday morning. This program will discuss franchise laws, direct shipments, advertising and more.  Also speaking at this conference is Pillsbury Intellectual Property Senior Associate Robert B. Burlingame. Mr. Burlingame will present on Monday afternoon, September 11, 2006  on the topic of “Trademarks in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry.” This program will include some trademark basics, as well as the latest trademark developments and disputes in the industry.
