During this four day study tour, sponsored by CLDP and Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce, participants will discuss different models for 1) structuring the courts that oversee insolvency proceedings, 2) determining the roles of creditors and debtors in the insolvency process, 3) selecting trustees and 4) determining the role of the court in the insolvency proceeding versus the role of the trustee.

Mr. Potter will lead several panel discussions, including one on Tuesday, March 14 at 11:30am titled “Drafting a Comprehensive Insolvency Law” which will address objectives and key provisions to consider for drafting and implementing successful insolvency law.
