Mr. Haboubi is an associate in Pillsbury's Intellectual Property practice. Prior to law school, he performed research in high energy particle physics, where he designed software used to test electronic components of a large international particle accelerator experiment. While in law school, he was a Senior Editor for the Webby Award winning legal news website JURIST, before serving on the executive board of the American University International Law Review as Publications Editor. Mr. Haboubi performs various tasks relating to patent counseling, prosecution and litigation, such as performing IP diligence analysis, formulating non-infringement and invalidity opinions, assessing patentability, preparing and prosecuting new patent applications, and participating in post-grant proceedings such as inter-partes reexaminations.
