Gurpreet S. Bal

Mr. Bal represents technology companies on corporate and securities matters in all stages of their business life cycle – from start-up to maturity and exit transactions. Gurpreet has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and other sale-of-company transactions, closing twelve since 2010 with deal values ranging from less than $1 million to over $3 billion. He has counseled clients on securities matters and closed numerous initial public offerings, including four completed IPOs since 2010.
Gurpreet also represents clients in venture capital financings and advises his clients on general corporate matters. His clients include leaders and innovators in social media, robotics, semiconductor solutions, healthcare technology, optics, e-commerce, wireless communications and energy.
Gurpreet’s prior experience includes a brief career at a Big Four accounting firm, serving as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California and a judicial extern in the United States District Court, Northern District of California.
