Mr. del Calvo represents technology companies in venture capital and securities transactions, including public offers, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. From 2000 to present, he led the nation in representing issuers in completed technology IPOs. During his career, he has represented U.S. and foreign issuers in hundreds of public and private offerings of equity, debt and convertible securities. Mr. del Calvo has also been involved in numerous merger & acquisition transactions, representing both sellers and purchasers, and serves as Coordinating Editor of Venture Capital and Public Offering Negotiation, a two-volume treatise for lawyers.

He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2005-2007 edition) in the areas of corporate law, leveraged buyouts and private equity law, mergers & acquisitions law, securities law, and venture capital law. Since 2005, he has been cited in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as top in his field for corporate and mergers & acquisitions practices. From 2005-2007, he was also named a "Northern California Super Lawyer," as a result of a joint research project conducted by Law & Politics and San Francisco Magazine.
