Mr. Herr represents an array of developers, owners, managers and lenders in their commercial and residential real estate development, acquisition, operation, leasing, sale and loan transactions. He has handled the formation of real estate investment partnerships raising $450 million in capital, and over $7 billion of class-A office building acquisition or disposition transactions between 1994 and 2009. He was lead attorney in the acquisition of the San Francisco Giants by the current ownership group. He also has an active land use/governmental approvals practice, representing developers of major office, retail, residential and hotel projects in California.

For the years 2004 through 2009, Mr. Herr has been ranked in Chambers USA as one of America’s leading lawyers in real estate in California. He has also been named one of the “Best Lawyers” by Best Lawyer in America for the past 20 years in real estate and land use & zoning law.
