Patty M. DeGaetano
Senior Associate |
Ms. DeGaetano is a senior associate in Pillsbury's Corporate & Securities practice group. Her practice focuses on advising seasoned and emerging companies on SEC reporting and disclosure, corporate governance matters, federal and state corporate and securities law compliance, equity incentives, finance and securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and securities matters. Ms. DeGaetano works with public and private companies in a broad range of industries, including retail, biotech, technology, medical device manufacturing, credit financial services, health products, performing arts, restaurant and the alternative energy sector. She also has experience working with companies listed on the NASDAQ, American Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange, as well as traded on the OTCBB. She has been recognized by the San Diego Daily Transcript as a nominee for the 2007 and 2009 Young Attorneys award. Ms. DeGaetano is a member of the firm’s recruiting committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. DeGaetano served as an intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance as a participant in the Summer Honors Program. Ms. DeGaetano also has many years of experience prior to law school as a member, and most recently serving as legal affairs associate, of the in-house legal department of several large, publicly-traded companies, including Overland Storage, Inc., a manufacturer of computer data protection appliances and software modules; Dura Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty respiratory pharmaceutical company; Spiros Development Corporation II, Inc., developer of a pulmonary drug delivery system; Intermark, Inc., and its sister company Triton Group Ltd., La Jolla-based operating/holding companies that did business nationwide through a number of subsidiaries operating in various industries.
