Scott R. Flick
Partner |
Mr. Flick focuses on legal issues impacting mass media and new communications technologies. He represents broadcast stations and networks before federal regulatory agencies and counsels them on regulatory, transactional, business, policy and technology issues. His practice helps clients address issues involving program distribution, cable and satellite television and radio, program rights, and related IP issues. He also seeks changes in federal communications law and policy on behalf of clients and assesses the impact of proposed legislative and regulatory changes. He has also worked with municipalities and public utilities seeking to build and operate hybrid fiber-coaxial video and data distribution systems, structuring such ventures to operate in the current regulatory framework.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Flick was a partner at Fisher Wayland Cooper Leader & Zaragoza, a communications-oriented law firm that merged with Pillsbury in April 2000.
