Mr. Mason is a partner in Pillsbury's communications group. Mr. Mason represents companies in the areas of television and radio broadcasting, telecommunications and the Internet on a wide range of regulatory, business and technology issues. Mr. Mason's practice involves the negotiation of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate finance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mason was a partner in the Washington, DC communications firm of Fisher Wayland Cooper Leader & Zaragoza, which merged with Shaw Pittman in April 2000. Previously he was an associate at Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine in New York City, where he concentrated in securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
