Mr. McPhillips is an associate in Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s Global Sourcing group, where he currently focuses on technology transactions, including information technology and business process outsourcing transactions; software licensing and development arrangements; and other related corporate transactions.

During law school, Mr. McPhillips served as the Editor in Chief of the Georgia Law Review. Before practicing law, Mr. McPhillips worked for the international practice group in the Washington DC office of a national law firm. In 2005, Mr. McPhillips was invited to Taipei to join a small delegation of young foreign policy leaders that met with senior Taiwanese government officials, including the Premier of Taiwan. Mr. McPhillips has also assisted several presidential campaigns with strategic communications work and foreign policy research.

In addition to client matters, Mr. McPhillips is active with the University of Georgia Alumni Association, the Harvard Club of Washington DC, and the Exeter Association of Washington, DC.
