Jason B. Parker
|
Mr. Parker is a senior associate in Pillsbury's Energy Group. He is experienced in developing first-of-a-kind nuclear and petrochemical projects in the Mideast. His practice includes advising clients on joint venture agreements, intellectual property transactions, commercial contracting matters, and nuclear regulatory issues. Notably, Mr. Parker also assists governmental entities with developing new nuclear power programs including: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreements; development of legislative and regulatory frameworks; nuclear reactor vendor selection; engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements; and other agreements for services and fuel for nuclear power stations.
Jason joined Pillsbury's Washington nuclear energy practice group in 2007. Since joining he has spent much of his time in Abu Dhabi and Tokyo advising clients. Prior to becoming an attorney, he was a welding engineer for a leading nuclear reactor supplier and is experienced in the design and manufacture of nuclear reactors, steam generators, and pressurizers.
