Jason B. Parker
Mr. Parker is a senior associate in the law firm's Energy practice and is located in the Tokyo and Washington, DC offices. He is experienced in developing projects that are large, complex, and frontier. Mr. Parker has worked on first-of-a-kind nuclear and petrochemical projects in the Mideast. His practice includes advising clients on EPC contracts, concession agreements, O&M agreements, fuel supply agreements, sales/off-take agreements, technology licensing, and other project development agreements. Notably, Mr. Parker also has a deep knowledge of the nuclear industry and nuclear regulatory matters. He therefore also assists clients with developing new nuclear power programs. His experience includes development of nuclear legislative and regulatory frameworks; nuclear reactor vendor selection; turnkey nuclear EPC contracts; and, long-term nuclear fuel supply agreements.
Mr. Parker joined Pillsbury's Washington nuclear energy practice group in 2007. Since joining he has spent much of his time working in Abu Dhabi and Tokyo advising clients. Prior to becoming an attorney, he was a welding engineer for a leading nuclear reactor supplier and is experienced in the design and manufacture of nuclear reactors, steam generators, and pressurizers.
