Jenny Sheng, managing partner of Pillsbury’s Beijing office, leads the Corporate practice of the Beijing and Shanghai offices where she advises clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investments management, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other significant corporate matters.
Jenny’s practice includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, investment management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, corporate finance, investigations and trade-related issues. Jenny works with clients from China, North America, Europe and Asia in diverse industries, including manufacturing, energy and nuclear, aviation, automobile and related services, real estate and construction, internet and telecom, life science, commercial and distribution and consumer services. She has substantial experience advising companies with respect to investment strategy, corporate governance, commercial transactions, competition law issues, export control and sanction law issues, technology license and product distribution. Jenny worked in the treaty and law department of the Beijing counterpart of the PRC’s Ministry of Commerce for five years before starting her private practice at international law firms.
