Jessica Nyman's practice focuses on communications regulatory, litigation and transactional matters.
Jessica has represented clients in a wide array of regulatory and litigation matters before the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Labor, the Copyright Royalty Board, and state and federal courts. She has also represented clients in a variety of transactional matters, including retransmission consent negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and information technology outsourcing transactions. In addition, Jessica is a regular contributor to CommLawCenter.com, Pillsbury's one-stop resource center covering a wide array of communications law matters.
Representative Experience
- Represented a national broadcast media company with respect to regulatory matters in $4.6 billion merger.
- Represented a global industrial manufacturer in an employment matter before the U.S. Department of Labor.
- Ongoing representation of copyright claimants in royalty distribution proceedings before the Copyright Royalty Board.
