Joseph E. Kendall

Mr. Kendall is a partner in Pillsbury's Global Sourcing group. Mr. Kendall's practice concentrates on advising companies on complex technology transactions. Mr. Kendall has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting large-scale information technology sourcing arrangements (including data center, infrastructure, telecommunications, desktop and application development and maintenance transactions), as well as business process and transformational outsourcing transactions. His experience includes representing numerous companies in procuring technology and business process services from offshore.
Mr. Kendall also represents companies in connection with software licensing, development and maintenance agreements, as well as systems integration contracts. He also assists clients with internet related matters such as website hosting and terms of use agreements. He has participated in numerous deals that are global in scope. Mr. Kendall’s technology work has spanned the retail, media, communications, transportation and financial services sectors of the economy, and he has particularly extensive experience representing health care companies.
Mr. Kendall is one of the leading attorneys advising health care companies in complex outsourcing and technology transactions. Mr. Kendall serves as the primary outside technology counsel to many clients in the health care industry. His work for health care companies covers the full range of technology-based transactions, including large-scale IT and business processing outsourcings and software development and integration transactions.
