Kate Burkart-Paulson
|
Ms. Burkart-Paulson is an associate in the Corporate & Securities practice at Pillsbury. She represents institutional investors in private equity transactions, from initial due diligence through disposition, including in secondary sales. Her practice also involves negotiating investment terms in complex private equity and hedge fund investments. She also represents institutional investors in forming and maintaining strategic relationships, restructuring private equity investments and other ongoing aspects of their private equity programs.
Ms. Burkart-Paulson's practice also focuses on mergers and acquisitions and advising clients regarding general corporate matters.
While in law school, Ms. Burkart-Paulson interned for the Honorable Lynn Adelman in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She was also a managing editor on the Wisconsin Law Review and a senior articles editor on the Wisconsin Women's Law Journal.
