Matt Hallinan
|
Mr. Hallinan is an associate in Pillsbury’s Corporate & Securities group, where his practice focuses on representing companies in venture capital financings, public offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and other general corporate matters. Mr. Hallinan has extensive experience advising early-stage technology companies with their venture capital financings and general corporate needs, and he has also represented both companies and underwriters in a number of public equity offerings. Mr. Hallinan also represents both acquirers and targets in business combinations, including mergers and asset acquisitions. In addition, he represents publicly-traded companies with regards to their reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Mr. Hallinan has provided counsel to companies in a number of industries, including clean technology, data networking, e-commerce, gaming, asset recovery and technology consulting.
Prior to joining Pillsbury, Mr. Hallinan worked as a Research Associate at the California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF), where he helped develop novel financial and policy models for the clean technology sector.
