Matthew Rabinowitz is an associate in the firm’s International Trade group and is located in the Washington, DC office. Mr. Rabinowitz advises clients on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) as well as import and export control laws and regulations administered by various agencies including the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). He further assists clients with voluntary self-disclosures and license authorization applications related to ITAR and EAR controlled items, and conducts due diligence for corporate transactions.
Prior to coming to Pillsbury, he was an associate at another law firm. He was also an intern at the New York City Law Department in the Administrative Law Division.
