Meghan Doherty represents government contractors in high-stakes litigation and compliance matters, as well as on the regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions.

An experienced bid protest attorney, Meghan has handled matters resulting in more than 100 published decisions before the Government Accountability Office, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She has successfully represented contractors in disputes involving both civilian and defense agencies.

Meghan also regularly advises clients in M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions involving government contractors, bringing both deep regulatory knowledge and significant transactional experience to these matters. In addition, she counsels government contractors on cybersecurity issues, including incident response and compliance with CMMC and FedRAMP requirements.

Representative Experience

  • Represented HEICO Corporation in its acquisition of Axillon Aerospace’s Fuel Containment Business from affiliates of SK Capital Partners.
  • Represented Bellese Technologies, LLC in its GAO bid protest challenging an $86 million CMS ACME BPA task order award for Hospital Quality Reporting Enhancement and Advancement Technologies (HEAT) services.   • Represented Aries Defense in its sale to Sigma Defense, a portfolio company of Sagewind Capital.
