Melinda B. Barker
|
Ms. Barker is a member of the Pillsbury’s Estates, Trusts & Tax Planning group in the Silicon Valley office. Ms. Barker counsels mid- and high-net worth individuals and families on their wealth management and estate planning needs, balancing their personal goals with tax management techniques. Ms. Barker also represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in a variety of matters, including trust administration, probate and estate administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Barker was an Associate at Berliner Cohen in San Jose, CA, and Aaron, Riechert, Carpol & Riffle, APC in Redwood City, CA. During law school, Ms. Barker interned for Judge John F. Herlihy of the Santa Clara County Superior Court.
During her law school career, Ms. Barker received the Witkin Award for both Tax Policy and Criminal Law as well as CALI Awards for both Insurance Law and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Barker also served as Articles Editor on the Santa Clara Law Review.
