Ms. Mehok
joined Pillsbury's San Diego North County office in 2002. Ms. Mehok's practice includes intellectual property transactional due diligence and strategic client counseling, including drafting license agreements, noninfringement and invalidity opinions, and freedom-to-operate analysis. Her practice includes intellectual property prosecution of patents; counseling clients on the selection, availability, protection and enforcement of trademarks; clearing, securing and maintaining trademarks in the United States and abroad; trademark policing; and the negotiation and settlement of disputed trademarks. Additionally, her practice includes intellectual property litigation relating to patents, trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition, domain names and copyrights.In the course of her practice, Ms. Mehok has represented clients in diverse array of technologies spanning wind energy, agriculture, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, therapeutic drugs and devices.
Prior to joining Pillsbury, Ms. Mehok's previous legal experience includes working at Fish & Richardson P.C. in San Diego, California (2000-2002); Law Clerk at Alcoa, Inc.'s Intellectual Property Law Division in Alcoa, Pennsylvania (1999-2000), and Summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Cindrich, US District Court for Western District of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (1998).
