Neil Vohra
|
Mr. Vohra is an associate in Pillsbury's Intellectual Property practice group. His practice focuses primarily on patent, trademark and copyright law.
Mr. Vohra’s litigation experience includes analyzing infringement claims and theories; evaluating client’s accused products and/or services; preparing for and taking depositions; drafting motions, including summary judgment motions and pre-trial motions; interfacing with experts; managing document review and production; participating in settlement negotiations; and drafting settlement agreements. Mr. Vohra’s patent litigation experience involves a variety of subject matters, including both software and hardware-related technologies. Mr. Vohra is also experienced in the prosecution of patent and trademark applications, and providing non-infringement and validity opinions.
Prior to law school, Mr. Vohra assisted in the upgrade of Los Angeles' 9-1-1 emergency data communication system. Mr. Vohra also has prior experience relating to design and maintenance of databases and a variety of computer programming languages. Mr. Vohra’s coursework at UCLA covered both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering concepts. Mr. Vohra is registered Patent Attorney and a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of California.
