Atlas Holdings announced on June 3 that it had entered into a joint venture with Lowe Enterprises and AECOM Capital for the shared ownership of the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. The resort, which was built in 1953, features 954 rooms and more than 200,000 square feet of meeting space.

According to the Daily Journal, Atlas brought in partners to help finance property renovations at the hotel, resort and convention center. Destination Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality management subsidiary of Lowe’s, will operate the property.

Christian Salaman, a partner in Pillsbury’s San Diego office, represented Destination Hotels & Resorts in the deal. Salaman advises clients in the travel, leisure and hospitality industry, as well as start-ups and emerging growth companies.
