The Daily Journal, California’s largest legal news provider, issued its annual Top 100 list this week, and for the second year in a row, Pillsbury partner Jorge del Calvo was included among the state’s top lawyers.

"When I started, most of my clients were in the PC space, doing components for personal computers, and that business, for the most part, doesn't exist anymore in the U.S.,” the Silicon Valley veteran said.

He added: "The technology space is characterized by a high rate of failure and consolidation, so your practice turns over on average every three to four years. As a consequence, it's important to sort of create a steady stream of new clients. ... It is really critical for me in terms of sustaining a practice over time."
