Though it still faces opposition due to privacy concerns, a U.S. cybersecurity data-sharing bill may be closer to getting passed after a recent breach compromised the information of potentially millions of government employees. U.S. President Barack Obama recently pointed to the breach as proof that Congress must take action on cybersecurity legislation, and Global Security partner Brian Finch told Bloomberg Law that the hack is so significant it will have to impact the legislation process.
