A Pillsbury team led by Silicon Valley partner Allison Leopold Tilley counseled Santa Clara-based Memoir Systems Inc. in its sale to Cisco Systems Inc. The deal was announced Sept. 18 and is expected to close in early 2015.

Memoir is a provider of semiconductor memory intellectual property and tools designed to help networking vendors increase their networks’ speed. A Cisco senior vice president commented that the acquisition will help the company increase the affordability and speed of existing memory offerings and keep up with advancements in information technology.

Partners Jorge del Calvo, Cindy Schlaefer, Brian Wainwright and David Jaffer also worked on the Pillsbury team, along with counsel Christina Pearson and associates Ryan Delaney and Tiffany Wu.
