Mr. Coleman represents equipment financiers, airlines, lessors and manufacturers in a broad range of lease, finance, acquisition, restructuring, repossession and remarketing activities. He leads the firm's Equipment Finance practice. He is a member of the Legal Advisory Panel to the Aviation Working Group appointed by Boeing and Airbus to advise on the Cape Town Convention and is a member of the ABA Sub-Committee on Aircraft Financing.

• Representation of airlines and lenders in pre-delivery financing and acquisition of multiple new Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including crossborder sale and leaseback transactions, operating leases, Eximbank financings and manufacturer supported financings
• Representation of creditors/lessors in the bankruptcies of Frontier, Delta, Northwest, Air Canada, US Airways and United Airlines, and less recently in Gemini Air Cargo, Western Pacific, TWA, Continental, Braniff, Eastern and Pan Am, and in various other restructuring and repossession/remarketing activities in connection with distressed airlines around the world
• Representation of strategic bidder for the assets of a major railcar leasing company
• Representation of sellers and purchasers of aircraft subject to operating leases
• Representation of aircraft leasing companies in the purchase and lease of new and used aircraft
• Representation of Fortune 50 purchaser of multiple new Gulfstream aircraft
• Negotiation of NetJet fractional share purchases
