Peter J. Chess
|
Mr. Chess is an associate in Pillsbury's Corporate & Securities practice. His practice focuses on general corporate and securities law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chess worked for the Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP) in San Francisco. He provided legal assistance on transactional matters to nonprofit organizations as a part of the Community Organization Representation Project (CORP). He also worked with VLSP's Eviction Defense Project and the Housing Negotiation Project at the San Francisco Superior Courthouse.
During law school, Mr. Chess worked as a research assistant for Dean Susan Westerberg Prager and Professor Iman Anabtawi. He assisted with the research for the article Regulating Systemic Risk: Towards an Analytical Framework, by Iman Anabtawi and Steven L. Schwarcz.
