R.J. Davis

Mr. Davis is a partner in the firm's Northern Virginia real estate practice. Mr. Davis represents local, regional and national developers, lenders, equity funds, private and institutional investors, and joint venture partners in all phases of commercial real estate transactions. His practice involves the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of diverse property types, including commercial office buildings, corporate headquarters, mixed-used developments, hotels, portfolio projects, planned communities, resort and marina properties, golf courses, shopping center and mall properties, as well as single-family and multi-family developments.
Mr. Davis also has experience with public-private partnerships, including the privatization of military facilities and related projects, as well as long term ground leases. His financing work includes the restructuring of loans, construction and debt financing, as well as mezzanine and securitized debt structures. In addition, Mr. Davis has negotiated many different joint venture arrangements, including the representation of both developer and equity interests.
